As an artist, I want to make a difference in how people view the world through my artworks. I have a passion to create what comes to my mind and heart. Nursing my soul through creativity.
Currently I work in acrylics and different mediums. In my works I love the use of color to create a visual melody using a variety of subject matter from nature, still life, pet portraits and whimsical. My artwork has been described “vivid colorful details”. When a viewer looks at my art they bring all their life experiences, all of their unique memories and my goal is to find out what “moves” or “sparks to come alive” within themselves. Once the brush is put down the story continues! Born and raised in Simcoe Ontario with early creative interest in textiles leading into acrylic painting using wood, metal and eventually onto canvas. Early adult year’s hairstylist/colorist then formally educated as a Registered Nurse always continuing passion for art through workshops and self-education. |
