Ann Stievater has been painting with acrylics and oils since retiring as an art educator in 2000. She has mentored with many local and national accomplished artists, resulting in her current illuminist style. Ann has always lived in Western New York or southern Ontario. Consequently, her landscape paintings portray her home environment, especially the changing moods and colors of the local waterways, skies and land. Ann is a member of many local art organizations and her work may be found in national and local private collections.
