POLICIES
- Refunds will NOT be granted for tour participation cancellations or changes.
- Late additions (e.g. new members that join the tour(s) after the deadline) will NOT have a place on the printed brochure-map.
- Membership applications are accepted year round and the website will be updated accordingly. New members will be juried.
- Last minute changes to the brochure are not possible and discouraged for the website less than one (1) month prior to the tours.
- Lawn signs are purchased in addition to new/renewal membership fees (for year round promotion and studio tours).
- Retail locations are NOT permitted to participate on the tour, this includes stores and galleries whereas their primary function is NOT an individual artist’s working studio.
- If an artist studio is in a gallery (or a gallery is attached to the studio), the studio and artist’s name is what appears on the brochure and website profile page.
- Pop-up studio shops in retail spaces are not in the spirit of a “studio tour” and not permitted.
- Extenuating circumstances whereas an artist has a change of tour location or closed must be expressed by email and ASAP so courtesy notices can be produced and distributed to the participating studios.
Studio Tour Boundary:
- The studio tours will include any/all artists who are residents and with studios open to the public in the areas of Wainfleet, Port Colborne and Fort Erie.
- The studio tours will be promoted as one whole group.
- Members who do not have “open-to-the public spaces” are considered “guests”. They can be accommodated by joining a fellow artist’s studio or other public art spaces (arrangements must be made by the artist seeking an exhibition space).
