Putzy (Elizabeth) Madronich is an award winning Niagara based professional visual artist. She teaches classes, workshops and hosts summer camps. She teaches art in schools using differentiated learning strategies to teach the curriculum, and facilitates classes in organizations where art making is used to promote healing and wellness. She works in watercolour, mixed media, acrylic, printmaking, painted floor canvases, encaustic, jewelry making, and collage. Putzy's work explodes with intense colour and is generously textured. Her work is largely inspired by her travels in Europe, North Africa and South East Asia.
"I like to approach a blank canvas with a sense of adventure, enjoying and trusting the creative process enough, that although the end result is a mystery, in my heart I know it will be a joyful, colourful and exciting journey." |
